Get Cooking - Mayo Grilled Cheese



In this video I try making an old recipe that has recently come back into popularity. Mayo Grilled Cheese

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise (Approx.)
2 Slices of Bread
1 Slice of Cheese

Directions:

1.) Spread the Mayo evenly onto one side of each slice of bread

2.) Place 1 slice of bread with mayo side facing down in a frying pan

3.) Place 1 slice of cheese on top of bread in frying pan

4.) Place remaining slice of bread on top of cheese this time with mayo side facing up

5.) Cook over medium heat for approx.3 to 5 minutes

6.) Carefully flip the sandwich over and cook the opposite side for approx. 3 to 5 minutes

7.) Once both sides are equally golden brown remove from heat and serve

Get Cooking - Chili Dog Casserole



Today in the kitchen I’m making “Chili Dog Casserole.

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

1 Pack of Hotdog Buns
1 Pack of Hotdogs
1 Can Hormel Chili without beans
1 Small Onion
1 Tablespoon Mustard (Approx.)
1 Tablespoon Ketchup (Approx.)
2 Cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Approx.)

Directions:

1.) Preheat oven 350 degrees

2.) Place Hotdog Buns in bottom of a 9”x13” cake pan.

3.) Press buns flat and place in heated oven for approx. 10 minutes or until toasted to a Golden Brown.

4.) Dice the Onion.

5.) Cut Hotdogs into bite size pieces.

6.) Spread the cut Hotdogs over the Toasted Buns.

7.) Pour the full can of Chili over the Hotdogs and spread as evenly as possible.

8.) Sprinkle the Diced Onions over the top of the Chili.

9.) Drizzle the Ketchup and Mustard over the top of the Chili and Onions.

10.) Spread Shredded Cheddar Cheese Over the top.

11.) Bake in the oven for 30 Minutes.

12.) Remove from the oven and let stand for approx. 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Get Cooking - Sweet & Sour Chicken



Today in the kitchen I will be making Sweet & Sour Chicken.

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

2 to 3 Pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 Package Dry Onion Soup Mix (Both Envelopes)
1 (12 oz.) Jar Apricot Preserves
1 (8 oz.) Bottle Russian Salad Dressing

Directions:

1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

2.) Cut Chicken Breasts into cubes.

3.) Combine Dry Onion Soup Mix, Apricot Preserves and Russian Dressing in a bowl and mix until well blended.

4.) Place Chicken pieces in a shallow baking dish.

5.) Pour Sauce over Chicken pieces.

6.) Bake in the oven for 90 Minutes

7.) Serve with White Rice

Get Cooking - Strawberry Jam-Burgers



You might think im crazy, you might say these 2 things don't go together but trust me it tastes better then you might think.

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

1/4 lbs. Ground Beef
1 Hamburger Bun
1 Tbsp. Strawberry Preserves

Directions:

1.) Form ground beef into a patty and cook until well done or your desired level of doneness.

2.) Lightly toast bun

3.) Place finished hamburger on bottom half of the bun

4.) Top cooked burger patty with 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserves

5.) Add the top bun to the hamburger

6.) Enjoy!
