Cooking with Rev - No Bake Cookies



Its finally here, the first in my long awaited series of instructional cooking videos. today I will be making "No Bake Cookies"

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Baking Cocoa
1 Stick of Butter (1/4 lbs. or 8 Tablespoons)
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
3 Cups Quaker Old Fashion Oats

Directions:

1.) Combine Sugar, Milk, Baking Cocoa and Butter in a Medium Sauce Pan over Medium Heat.

2.) Once Mixed allow to heat until a Rolling Boil begins.

3.) Once Rolling Boil begins continue boiling for 1 Full Minute.

4.) After 1 Minute turn off heat and remove pan from burner.

5.) Mix in Peanut Butter and Vanilla Extract.

6.) Once ingredients are well Mixed Add Oats and Mix Again.
(add an additional 1/2 cup of Oats if mix still appears watery)

7.) Using a regular spoon, drop small amounts of the mixture (approximately 1 heaping teaspoon each) onto wax paper (parchment paper can also be used) pressing each heap down to form a cookie shape.

8.) Allow to rest for approximately 1 - 2 hours before removing finished cookies from paper.

9.) Enjoy!
